What is the difference between a document and a template?

Revv templates contain boilerplate, generic content, and structure that you can adapt to create multiple documents. Revv has a library of templates that can be used for multiple business purposes. You can also create a template of your own and add it to the My Templates.

In contrast, a document is intended for a single-use. You can create a document from a template, or you can create one on your own from scratch. Once created, you can share the document internally for review and approval, or you can share it externally to request the customer’s signature.
